We invite our clients to submit photos for display in our gallery-please read and follow the below guidelines then click the "email " link-

-Photos should:

1.Be clear, taken only outdoors.

2.Only be in JPEG(or .jpg*) format-please double check the file extensions before uploading-certain digital cameras and software bundles may save and process photos in proprietary formats(example-.Kdc formats using certain Kodak software)-conversion of these images is excessively time consuming and can result in distortion making the photos unusable. Other formats -.bmp (bitmaps) are excessively large and .gifs are too small and lack resolution.

3.Not be altered electronically or "photo shopped" in any way. This includes embedded text done with computer software.

4.Not be compressed or reduced in size-if your email program offers to reduce the image size click "no"-email programs that do this reduce the number of pixels and/or the number of colours in photos and when they are re-expanded the photos may appear blurred or "choppy".

5. Show the angler(s) with a maximum of two fish per person-the fish should show prominently and should be freshly caught (uncleaned)
    
Other Notes:

1. The surroundings and background should indicate clearly the photos were taken at Island Lake, either by featuring the camps (or camp yard), dock, boat(s) or lake in the background.

2. Pictures do not necessarily need to be of fish -landscape shots or pictures of other wildlife around the lake are welcome.

3. Emails (with attachments) should not exceed 2 MB in size-this is, unfortunatley still limited by our I.S.P.

4. Your email should include in the subject line the words "Island Lake"-this will help insure it makes it through spam filters and receives due attention from the webmaster,who will receive the photos directly.

Legalese:
Your email must include:
1) your name, town/city, telephone number and approximate date (D/Y/M) the photos were taken. (All personal information will be protected respective of privacy law).

2) Names (first and last) of all persons in the photos.

-by submitting photos you warrant that : 1)all persons consent to having their likeness used on this website and that you understand all photos if used, will become intellectual property of this website and protected by/subject to the same copyright law as the rest of the site.2) The photos have not been/will not be used elsewhere on or off of the internet for commercial purposes including websites,blogs,brochures or other printable media.Your email must contain the line "I have read and agree to the terms and conditions as set forth on the website".

Updates and additions/edits to this website are done under contract with Harrison's Island Lake Camps and are done at the sole discretion of the webmaster who is responsible for photographic content. Updates are done on a predetermined basis and depending on time frames it may be several days /weeks before photos appear. Thank you for your cooperation!
